ABOUT
Before my days touring and travelling, I graduated from the University of Salford with a First Class (BaHons) in Popular Music and Recording and worked full time as a music teacher in the UK, specialising in guitar and lessons on harmony and theory. Over the years I have taught all ages. I have helped people start their journey of becoming a musician, and I have helped people break out of their box and advance further with their playing. I grew up in a small town outside Liverpool, UK. This tiny part of the UK is world famous for its musicians and artists, so as you can imagine there was an abundance of music surrounding me growing up. My earliest days in music were spent trying to learn any instrument I could, I guess I just wanted to make some noise and understand how people could read dots and scribbles and turn it into music. After working my way through instruments I finally found myself, at 11 years old, with a guitar in my hands.
The years that followed consisted of me locking myself in a room with a loud amp trying to recreate the sounds of my favourite guitarists, learning albums start to finish, and saving up to try and get the next dream guitar, amp, or pedal. After years of studying guitar and finally forming my own bands (and jumping in on everyone else's) I realised that music was the only career I wanted. I've been very fortunate to make that a reality. So here's what I'm up to today...
About Me:
First and foremost I am a session guitarist with years of experience on the road. I have had residencies in jazz clubs and 5* hotels, performed on top cruise ships, played in the pits for many theatre productions, and gigged all around Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. As well as live performance, I also provide my guitar services for recording sessions and can provide this as an online service too. Along with recording guitar for both covers and original productions, I have been working with a group of composers, producers, and film makers and developed a full team of creative people to offer services in many aspects of media production. My part in this is as a composer, but our team can provide much more on request. More info can be found HERE.
